Gosaikunda, Rasuwa
Located at an altitude of 4380m from the sea level in Rasuwa District, Gosaikunda is a sacred holy lake in Nepal. With a surface area of 13.8 ha, the gosaikunda lakes is 1030 ha with associated lakes and it has been listed as a Ramsar site on 29 September 2007.This is a important religious site as it is the abode of Hindu deities shiva and gauri.
