Monsoon/Summer season is considered as off-season for trekking in Nepal. However, trekking and hiking is even possible during the monsoon months of June, July and August. Nepal offers a wide range of trekking options. Due to the geographical diversity, trekking in Nepal can be differentiated according to the altitude and trekking time.

If you are planning for trekking in Nepal and have no time for other season, then you can still do trekking to rain-shadow areas of Nepal where there is less possibility of rainfall. Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpo are two trekking areas best for trekking and hiking during the monsoon months.
