For those wishing to trek on the off the beaten track, the wilderness trek or restricted trekking trails, the remote Himalayan villages of Nepal offer you special trekking experiences other than the regular Everest, Annapurna, Langtang region treks. There are many trekking areas that need a special permit to do. These trekking trails are less crowded and less travelled by the tourist which are culturally intact, naturally enchanting and adventurously demanding. You must travel with a liaison officer and pay for a special permit. There should be minimum two tourist in a group along with staff. Trekking independently is restricted in the area, means you need to trek through a Trekking Agency with a guide.
